April 9, 2008 – How It All Began

I’ve been really busy learning manners, so couldn’t get back before now. Here is a picture taken the morning after I was born – well extracted actually. My mom kept our humans up most of the night and she had to have a c-section. They didn’t get any sleep really. But I got loads and ate even more. I got so fat the first 3 weeks, my humans were worried I wouldn’t be able to stand up and walk. But I proved them wrong. I had my first outside experience at 4.5 weeks and they made me a little sweater from an old wool sock – it was way cold outside.

My humans tell me I’m pretty smart. I learned how to use the dog door when I was only 6 weeks old. Boy were they happy about that.

Well, I gotta run. I have two small cousins – Archer and Hunter both 8 weeks old. They are looking for homes, so I won’t get to play with them very much longer. This is Archer, he and I love golf balls. Talk at you later.
